Empowering Students Through Financial Support
The Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) Scheme is an initiative of the Government of Bihar under the 7 Nischay Yojana to provide financial assistance to students for higher education. The scheme provides education loans up to ₹4,00,000 to eligible students who have completed their 12th examination.
Students can apply through the official portal: 7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in. The scheme covers general, technical, and professional courses such as Engineering, MBA, and Law (LL.B / B.A LL.B).
The primary objective of the Government is to increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) and improve access to higher education. To support this, the state has established new universities, private institutions, and government colleges in remote and educationally backward areas.
Every year, lakhs of students pass Class 10th and 12th in Bihar and aspire to pursue higher education. This scheme ensures that no deserving student is deprived of education due to financial constraints.
Under this scheme, students receive financial support at a subsidized interest rate, enabling them to meet expenses such as tuition fees, books, hostel charges, and digital learning tools like laptops.
Additional Requirements:
All courses must be from institutions recognized by UGC, AICTE, BCI or relevant authorities.
